Default Winter is here...*sigh*

Yes got up this morning....BAM...walk right out into 20 degrees.

Had to fill up the car...it was 4:30am. I was doing the Dance to keep warm.

Our Aussie Friends are starting to enjoy warmer weather....

I went outside and tripped and slapped my face into a mountain of brown slush. But atleast I don't have to engage in human activity anymore for a few months.

Feel sorry for the poor sob's over in Manitoba.

-30c and 2 feet of snow.

At least here (Alberta) it's only been down to -12c or so and the snow we had has pretty much melted away

Personally, I cant WAIT for snow. I dunno why, either. I just always get this good feeling when snow hits for the first time of the year.

I don't hate it..I just get real tired of it. I work in a warehouse that we do not heat in the winter (Imported Chocolate). So it gets tiresome to freeze day after day. I also get tired of the driving into the dark in the morning. Daylight is shorter so I seem more tired then when the sun is up til 9-10pm in the warm months. I like winter up till New Years...then I am ready for spring.

Also my Old Dood body just doesn't take it like it use to. I have many more aches and pains now...Winter doesn't help it at all.

one advantage of a real winter is that it keeps the 250+ pound girls in a string bikini from riding a horse bareback at the beach
i saw it and it was awful (felt sorry for the horse)

I like winter because I like the color white but falling into a pile of dirty slush was just crappy luck.

LMFAO. First thing that comes to mind - the woman in the "Fire Dogs" episode of Ren and Stimpy: "HERE, SAVE MY HORSE!"

Winter's my favorite season. Nothing says beauty like blood in the snow.

although you could see it happen to extreme sporters (or those guys from Dirty Sanchez thinking of ANOTHER way to cause self-harm in the snowy mountains)

But... I would love to take a shot like I missed one last year with a red sky and snow falling everywhere ><

Would've been a picture to remember
